Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology or a related field is required.
  • Experience with Python and/or a Linux environment for computing.
  • Effective written communication skills evidenced by application materials.

Responsibilities

  • Apply, develop, and improve computational pipelines for evolutionary genomics in HPC environments.
  • Develop, test, and edit protocols and websites used for lab research and teaching.
  • Mentor undergraduate students and assist with organizing summer workshops.
  • Maintain detailed records of analyses and code using a lab notebook and version-controlled workflows.
