The candidate will teach BIO 165, BIO 264, and upper-division/graduate courses, mentor undergraduates and graduates, and develop externally funded research in bioinformatics, machine learning, AI, and data-driven biology.

Qualifications

• PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, or closely related field.
• Degree completed by the start date.

Responsibilities

• Teach BIO 165 and BIO 264 plus upper-division and graduate courses in bioinformatics.
• Develop and deliver curricula linking computation with biological context.
• Establish and maintain an externally visible research program involving undergrads and grads.
