Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Raleigh, NC seeks a USPTO-registered Patent Attorney with expertise in bioinformatics, computational biology, or AI to join the team. The role offers remote or hybrid work arrangements and requires at least three years of patent prosecution experience.

You will draft and prosecute patents, collaborate with clients on strategy, and provide IP counsel across multiple life-science and tech areas. An MS or PhD is preferred, with bar admission in the primary office location.

Qualifications

• Three+ years patent prosecution experience.
• MS or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology or related field preferred.
• Admission to bar in primary office location (NC preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patent prosecution in bioinformatics and computational biology.
• Collaborate with clients to develop patent strategies.
• Draft and review patent applications and related documents.
• Provide counsel on intellectual property matters.
