Job summary

You will present models to guide experimental directions and contribute to reproducible workflows using Jupyter/R Markdown, with residency in Georgia and ability to commute to Emory as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required or equivalent
• Student-related experience from formal Master's-level training
• Proficiency in R and Python
• Experience with single-cell RNA-seq and ATAC-seq pipelines (Cell Ranger, Seurat, Scanpy)
• Interest in systems immunology and multi-omics analysis
• Experience with Jupyter Notebook and R Markdown for workflows
• Proficiency with HPC environments and job scheduling (SLURM)
• Familiarity with AI tools to accelerate coding and workflows
• Residency in GA and ability to commute to Emory on a flexible schedule

Responsibilities

• Maintain software, hardware, and network infrastructure in a bioinformatics setting or molecular modeling laboratory
• Supervise regular updates and recommend state-of-the-art enhancements
• Analyze high-throughput screening data and perform structure-activity analyses to generate predictive correlations
• Apply molecular modeling tools to refine high-throughput screening hits
• Present models to enable decision-making for experiments
• Perform related responsibilities as required
