Ladders is seeking a Bioinformatics Application Scientist, NGS - AMER to join a leader in Pharmaceuticals & Biotech. This role blends bioinformatics, customer engagement, and sales support to translate NGS capabilities into practical solutions for researchers.

Location: Remote. Compensation: $125,000 – $141,000 annually. The candidate will collaborate with sales, product, and technical teams on design, data analysis, and pre-/post-sales discussions in a fast-moving biotech environment.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in Bioinformatics, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or related field with 2+ years biotech or commercial genomics experience, or BS/MS with 7+ years experience.
• Strong knowledge of NGS applications and bioinformatics for data analysis (WES, RNA-seq, methylation).
• Proficiency with Linux environments and command-line tools; ability to troubleshoot analytically.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; collaborative team player.

For our client, we are seeking a Bioinformatics Application Scientist, NGS - AMER to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This role sits at the intersection of bioinformatics, customer engagement, and sales support, helping translate complex next-generation sequencing capabilities into practical solutions for researchers. The position will partner closely with sales, product, and internal technical teams to support custom assay design, data analysis, and pre- and post-sales discussions. It is well suited to a scientifically fluent professional who can troubleshoot technical challenges, communicate clearly with customers, and support applied genomics workflows in a fast-moving biotech environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with high attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
