Job summary

Qualifications
- PhD or BS/MS with extensive industry experience (>5 years) in relevant fields.
- Deep expertise across two or more biosensor, materials, and device areas.
- Ability to build or customize instrumentation for protein biophysics and electrochemistry.
Responsibilities
- Lead wetware integration strategy across biosensor proteins, surface chemistry, hydrogels, membranes, and readout hardware.
- Design diagnostic experiments to distinguish biosensor vs immobilization failures and related effects.
- Execute directed evolution workflows and guide protein design based on results.
- Synthesize or adapt materials for bioelectronics interfaces.
- Merge device hardware with proteins and materials in collaboration with hardware team.
- Automate fabrication and assay workflows using robotics.
