Job summary

Primient is seeking an iPROOF Bioeconomy Development Intern for Summer 2027 in Decatur, IL. You will provide direct support to the iPROOF project team during build and commissioning, contributing to technical aspects and related business development, from field to customer.

Starting pay is $21.00/hr with overtime, plus a housing stipend ranging from $1,500 to $3,000 depending on location. You will draft SOPs, assist in equipment qualification, and report to the General Manager, gaining a

Qualifications

• Must be engaged in an active biotechnology-related degree program.
• Have an understanding of precision/industrial fermentation and common downstream processing unit ops.
• Strong math, science, and computer skills are required.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, project-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in equipment qualification to ensure proper functionality and compliance.
• Draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for various processes.
• Assist in the development of Process Control Description/Narrative
• Assist in day-to-day construction activities
• Support business development activities under the guidance of Business Development Director.
• Report directly to the iPROOF General Manager.
