Job summary

The Maryland Institute College of Art seeks a Biodesign Curriculum Development Partner to develop its Biodesign Co‑Major and Graduate program, with a start date of January 2026 and an end date of August 2026.

In this temporary part-time role, you will engage in curricular development and work collaboratively with the Biodesign Advisory Board. A minimum of three on-site work periods are required, with the flexibility for remote work.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience teaching in higher education beyond graduate assistantships.
• 1+ year experience teaching biodesign or closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience in curricular development and writing courses.

Responsibilities

• Build an understanding of the existing Biodesign program.
• Develop curricular integrations with internal partners.
• Fully develop up to six Biodesign courses.
