Overview: The primary responsibility of the Adjunct Faculty member is teaching. The role is to deliver the KGI certificate program course BSCI 5310 – Pharmaceutical Development, focusing on the discovery, development, and commercialization of traditional and biological drugs. Course Description: The course provides an understanding of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical development, covering drug substance production, drug product development, clinical development, and commercialization. Case studies demonstrate industry practices in discovery techniques and advanced drug delivery systems. The course integrates business and regulatory topics throughout the lectures and assignments.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of a Master’s degree in a related field; a doctoral degree is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience; active‑learning teaching experience preferred.
• Experience with the Canvas learning management system is a plus.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Provides high‑quality instruction to students.
• Evaluates student performance (written assignments, examinations, in‑class activities).
• Provides remedial instruction as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
