Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform in vitro and in vivo testing in support of non-clinical studies at the Irvine campus. The role involves safety and biocompatibility testing for Edwards medical devices, with duties spanning sample collection, data recording, and basic computations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in related scientific field.
• At least 1 year of in vitro and in vivo biological testing experience.
• Experience and ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory tests and assist in lab tasks under supervision.
• Conduct in vitro biology testing (cytotoxicity, hemolysis, coagulation assays, and genotoxicity).
• Perform in vivo biological assays using small animals (administration, health monitoring, sample collection).
• Calibrate and operate standard lab equipment and record results with traceable data.
• Support validation activities for equipment and test methods under supervision.
• Follow SOPs and maintain compliance with work instructions.
