Job summary

Analog Devices, a global semiconductor leader, seeks a Biochemical Engineer to develop biochemical workflows and use a novel fluorescence imaging platform. You will prepare samples, analyze data, and contribute to experimental plans across geographic sites, collaborating with diverse colleagues.

The role requires hands-on sample work, expertise in analytical techniques, and strong communication in a fast-paced team environment, with opportunities to influence IP and product development.

Qualifications

  • PhD in Biochemical Engineering and proven research experience in developing workflows and preparing biological samples.
  • Experience with biochemical analytical techniques such as gel electrophoresis, PCR, LC, MS.
  • Experience in automated data collection and data analysis.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills with ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Python programming skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop workflows for biochemical sample preparation and characterization.
  • Use a novel fluorescence imaging system to analyse biochemical samples.
  • Perform data analysis and synthesize conclusions from experiments.
  • Perform additional biochemical analyses such as gel electrophoresis, PCR, etc. as required.
  • Coordinate activities with peers and contribute to design improvements and IP generation.
