Job summary

Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City is seeking a Senior Associate Scientist I in Biochemical Analysis. The role focuses on testing biologics, method transfer and validation, and drafting analytical methods and reports under cGMP guidance.

The position requires a Life Sciences degree (Bachelor’s with experience or Master’s with no experience) and hands-on lab experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC/UPLC, electrophoresis, and spectroscopy.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s in Life Sciences or Physical Science with cGMP exposure
Experience in a laboratory setting with analytical techniques
Knowledge of biological/biochemical principles
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented with documentation accuracy
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Perform sample testing for biologics under cGMP regulatory guidance
Participate in method transfer and validation activities
Draft methods, method forms, and analytical reports
Execute laboratory testing using HPLC/UPLC, electrophoresis, spectroscopy, and compendial assays
Follow SOPs with strong attention to detail
Maintain accurate, compliant documentation per cGMP
Peer review notebooks, logbooks, and method documentation
Operate laboratory equipment safely and in compliance with procedures
