Job summary

You will design experiments, evaluate enzyme variants, and develop enzyme-catalyzed processes within project teams of chemists and engineers. The role requires strong communication, meticulous documentation, and a mindset of safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Requires BS or MS in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, or biochemical engineering from an accredited college by Oct 2026.
• Experience safely performing laboratory-based research or process development in a biocatalysis-related area.
• Strong communication, organizational, collaboration, and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and compliance with safety, environmental, and GMP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and execute experiments to identify useful enzymatic transformations and improve enzyme variants.
• Develop enzyme-catalyzed chemical processes from lab scale to preparative scale.
• Collaborate with chemists and engineers to implement enzymes in chemical reactions and support laboratory operations.
