Job summary

Planet Pharma is seeking a Bioanalytical Scientist in Massachusetts to independently conduct LC-MS/MS based bioanalysis in support of drug discovery and development studies. The role requires a PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Biology or a related field and up to 4 years of lab experience, with pay ranging from 60 to 70 USD per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Biology or a relevant area with 0–4 years of lab or industry experience.
Proficient in LC-MS/MS operation and biological sample preparation.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct and/or participate in assigned technical tasks within time and budget constraints.
2. Manage with little supervision, projects involving multiple units.
3. Maintain formal and informal communications with collaborators and prepare reports.
4. Achieve high technical quality in assigned projects.
5. Data processing, document procedures and results, and write reports.
6. Conduct literature searches and apply current methodology to experimental design.
7. Follow policies, procedures and laws applicable to the organization.
8. Document procedures, data processing, results generation and reports.
9. Plan and carry out self-development activities.
