Job summary

Inotiv is seeking a Research Scientist in St. Louis, MO to conduct bioanalytical work including sample prep, LC-MS/MS analysis, data review and method development for bioanalytical studies.

The role emphasizes method qualification, QC review, instrument troubleshooting, and collaboration with Principal Investigators, with strict adherence to GMP/GLP and SOPs, plus thorough documentation and timely communication.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field with 0–2 years (MS) or two years (BS) of qualified experience in analysis/bioanalysis.
• Proficient in analytical testing, sample preparation, calibration, QC, data processing and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform method development, qualification, and sample analysis for bioanalytical studies.
• Conduct quality control review of bioanalytical results.
• Troubleshoot instruments and processes as needed.
• Notify Lab Manager/PI of deviations or risks to study completion.
• Train and mentor bioanalytical personnel.
• Prepare analytical reports for client studies.
