Job summary

Inotiv in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Research Scientist to conduct bioanalytical laboratory work, including sample preparation, LC‑MS/MS analysis, data review, reporting, and method development in support of bioanalytical studies.

You will ensure adherence to SOPs, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities include method development and qualification, quality control of results, instrument troubleshooting, training junior staff, and communicating deviations or risks to

Qualifications

• BS or equivalent in Chemistry/Biochemistry with 2 years analysis/bioanalysis experience.
• MS in Chemistry/Biochemistry or related field with 0–2 years experience.
• Understanding of Bioanalysis processes: sample prep, calibration, QC, data processing.
• Ability to work independently and follow SOPs with minimal supervision.
• Good written and oral communication skills, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform method development, qualification, and sample analysis in support of bioanalytical studies.
• Perform quality control review of bioanalytical results.
• Troubleshoot instruments and processes as needed.
• Notify investigators of deviations and document risks.
• Train and mentor bioanalytical personnel.
• Prepare analytical reports for client studies.
