Job summary

Collabera in Illinois is seeking a Bioanalytical Scientist/Lab Technician for a 12-month contract with potential extension. The role focuses on routine and non-routine analysis, formulation work, and generating reliable bioanalytical data using HPLC and related methods.

On-site position with ~80% lab activity and 20% administrative tasks; Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day. Local candidates only; compensation ranges from $20 to $25 per hour.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related science field.
• Theoretical and practical knowledge to effectively carry out job functions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project leads on projects of varying complexity, performing routine and non-routine analysis.
• Troubleshoot experiments and instrumentation as needed.
• Maintain general lab upkeep and perform routine testing.
• Document experiments using an electronic notebook (eLN).
• Learn and apply new experimental techniques.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable policies and procedures, including cGMPs and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab area.
