Job summary

BioAgilytix is seeking a Summer Intern to support bioanalytical assays and sample management in a fast-paced lab environment. This role is limited to 20-24 hours per week and is ideal for students pursuing biology, chemistry, or related fields.

Applicants should have completed at least two college lab courses and be comfortable working under supervision, with strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Rising junior or senior in a 4-year college majoring in biology, chemistry, or related field.
• Or enrolled in a scientific graduate program.
• Completed a minimum of 2 lab courses in a college or university setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform parts of assays with supervision
• Adhere to provided method/directive
• Prepare buffers
• Pipetting
• Adhere to safety requirements
• Keep accurate inventory of supplies for assays
• Responsible for accurate record keeping regarding assay details and reagents
• Participate to the management of bioanalytical samples, including, shipping samples to domestic or international destinations
• Dispositions samples as directed by client
• Assist with data review and presentation
• Organize samples for testing, prepare supplies
