Job summary

Meso Scale Diagnostics in Gaithersburg, MD is seeking a Bioanalytical Associate Scientist to independently execute high-throughput assays and support method validation projects. You will guide junior staff, ensure GDP/GLP/GCLP compliance, and manage multiple projects with rigorous data quality.

The role demands a strong background in ligand-binding assays, immunoassays, and BSL‑2 techniques, with 4+ years in an industrial setting preferred. Domestic travel is not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology or related field required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on work in biological sample testing or reagent/assay development in industry preferred.
• Experience with running immunoassays/ligand-binding assays highly preferred.
• Training in GLP/GCLP highly preferred and BSL-2 techniques required.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute sample analysis in consultation with the BPI.
• Independently execute method validation assays with BPI.
• Lead analyst in multi-panel testing and oversee junior analysts.
• Perform lot qualification of assay reagents and review analytical data.
