Job summary

CoxHealth in Springfield, MO seeks a Tech I to maintain and repair clinical equipment, ensuring patient and staff safety. You will document repairs, run safety checks, and perform preventive maintenance across hospital devices.

The role requires an associate degree in a related field (or military biomedical training) or relevant entry-level biomedical experience, plus seminars. On-call rotation applies.

Qualifications

• Required: Associate's Degree in a related field, or Military Biomedical training, or 1 year biomedical equipment maintenance experience with two seminars.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Technology or Biomedical Technology.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair basic electronic and electromechanical equipment.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, and confidentiality.

In addition, this individual will document repairs, and perform safety checks and preventive measures. This position will be eligible for the on-call rotation.Education: Required: Associate’s Degree in a related field OR completion of Military Biomedical training program OR 1 years Biomedical equipment maintenance experience with a minimum of two manufacturer-level service seminars completed.
