Job summary

Louisiana Blue is seeking a Bindery and Finishing Specialist to provide bindery and finishing services across the company, ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery.

This position reports to the Manager of Printing Services and has no direct reports. Residency in Louisiana or relocation is preferred and applicants must be authorized to work without sponsorship. The role requires strong collaboration with internal/external customers and departments to maintain quality and cost controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prefer 5+ years of high-volume printing experience.
• Completion of printing/binding related vocational or technical training preferred.
• Working knowledge of departmental equipment, paper and chemicals; able to troubleshoot routine problems.
• Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines; ensure quality and cost effectiveness.
• Research and clarify project specifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Create job tickets in Pace Print mgt system and record actual time allocated for jobs.
• Translate job ticket information to align and operate all bindery equipment to produce quality printing.
• Perform regular maintenance on all press equipment per manufacturer guidelines.
• Comply with all laws and regulations related to duties and responsibilities.
• Work in a normal office environment with standard noise levels; mostly sedentary or standing.
