Baesman Group, Inc. is seeking a Bindery Operator to set up and run bindery and finishing equipment for a range of clients. Training is provided on the job for those with mechanical aptitude and a hands-on mindset.

Responsibilities include following job tickets, ensuring quality, maintaining safety, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced production environment. Previous bindery experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning how equipment works.
• Attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow written instructions, measurements, and job specifications.
• Basic math skills, including decimals and standard and metric measurements.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment.
• Previous bindery, machine-operation, or manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate bindery and finishing equipment.
• Follow job tickets and production specifications to complete each project accurately.
• Inspect products throughout the process to ensure quality.
• Make machine adjustments and troubleshoot basic production issues.
• Work toward established safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Partner with team members to keep jobs moving and meet client deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
