Job summary

Sheridan is hiring a Manufacturing Operator for the Bindery and ancillary machines. This full-time, first-shift role offers on‑the‑job training and overtime opportunities. No bindery experience is required—we will train you to operate sewers, drills, shrink wrap, and other equipment.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, are mechanically inclined, and read basic instructions. A reliable team player who takes pride in quality work will fit well in our shop environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Able to read basic job instructions and measurements.
• Take pride in doing quality work.
• Reliable attendance and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up, run and maintain small bindery equipment (sewers, drills, shrink wrap, board cutter, box maker, and mechanical binding).
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues to keep production moving.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
