Job summary

EP Graphics, Inc. in Berne, IN is seeking an Entry Level Bindery Operator to join a climate-controlled, fast-paced team. Pay is up to $17/hr with a Monday–Friday schedule and optional Saturday work.

The ideal candidate will have experience in heat set web printing or knowledge of offset printing procedures and be able to read job specs, adjust controls precisely, and perform routine maintenance. The company has a long history as a family-owned printer since 1925, serving a nationwide clientele

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience as an operator at a heat set web printing company, or knowledge of offset printing procedures.
• Able to read and understand job specifications.
• Ability to make precise settings of controls.
• Perform routine maintenance of equipment.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Dependable and hardworking.
• Accurate with attention to detail.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to train and supervise a small crew.
• Willing to work overtime and various shifts as needed.

Entry Level BINDERY OPERATOR

Offset printing is customer driven, so you will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines under pressure. EP Graphics is climate-controlled with a positive work culture.

• Pay rate is up to $17/hr based on experience and qualifications.

Work week runs Monday - Friday.

Must be willing to work Saturdays as needed.

The Ideal Candidate Will

• have a minimum two years' experience asan operator at a heat set web printing companyor will have knowledge of offset printing procedures

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, hear, reach with hands and arms, and to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
