United Direct Solutions is seeking a full-time Bindery Operator for our Louisville, Kentucky facility to work the 3rd shift. You will set up and run mail equipment, perform quality checks, and ensure output meets customer specifications.

Schedule: Monday–Friday 9:30 PM–6:00 AM with occasional overtime. We offer competitive pay, a clean climate-controlled facility, health/dental/vision and 401(k), plus opportunities for development and advancement.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; One year of mail equipment experience preferred, but not necessary.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills required.
• Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to work 3rd shift and overtime when needed.

Responsabilidades

• Sort mail classes and operate mailing equipment with intermediate setups.
• Process mail equipment to convert post-press products per ticket.
• Ensure equipment runs efficiently and product meets quality standards.
• Set up equipment to meet customer requirements.
• Perform and document quality checks.
• Retrieve cores, boxes and supplies for daily operation.
• Inspect equipment for defects and perform general maintenance.
• Read and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Participate in meetings, training, and continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

United Direct Solutions is currently seeking a full time Bindery Operator for 3rd shift for our Louisville, Kentucky facility

Schedule: Monday- Friday 9:30PM- 6:00AM if overtime is needed hours are 7:30PM- 6:00AM.

Essential Functions:

• The Lettershop Cutter/Bindery Operator sorts all classes of mail and performs intermediate setups, troubleshooting and operation of mailing equipment.
• Effectively perform mail equipment processing – converting post-press product into finished product by following job ticket instructions.
• Responsible for ensuring that mail equipment is operating efficiently while producing product that conforms to a quality standard.
• Accurately setup equipment to meet specific customer requirements.
• Perform and document quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications.
• Retrieve cores, boxes, and other supplies and materials for the equipment and daily operation.
• Inspect equipment for defects and perform general maintenance duties, as necessary.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions and job tickets, as well as comprehend verbal instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Participate in department meetings, training, and continuous improvement events.
• Other duties as assigned.
