Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret simple instructions and memos.
• Basic math calculations are required for production and measurement tasks.
• Able to use common hand tools used in production and packaging.
• Maintain quality while meeting production pace and throughput expectations.
• Set up and adjust equipment to meet job specifications.
• Recognize production or quality issues and notify a supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate bindery equipment (cutter, folder, stitcher) per job specs.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed.
• Inspect finished products for quality and defects.
• Load and unload materials; ensure proper storage.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE; report hazards.
• Maintain production, quality and maintenance records.
