Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services in San Diego is seeking a Bindery Associate to operate and maintain bindery equipment and support warehousing and shipping responsibilities.

You will review job tickets, perform quality checks, monitor inventory, and collaborate with press operators to ensure on-time delivery. This 2nd shift position runs Monday–Friday from 2:30pm to 11:00pm and offers temp-to-hire potential after successful onboarding and background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass an online assessment.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Able to work the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 2:30pm–11:00pm).
• Temp-to-hire position depending on performance.
• On-site role in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain bindery equipment such as cutters, folders, drills, collators, and perfect binders to produce high-quality finished products.
• Review job tickets and specifications to ensure accuracy in cutting, folding, binding, and finishing.
• Perform quality checks throughout the production process to meet company standards and client requirements.
• Monitor inventory of bindery supplies, report shortages, and assist with restocking.
• Collaborate with press operators and other production staff to ensure deadlines are met.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Assist in packaging, labeling, and preparing finished products for shipping.

Bindery Associate

Shifts:

• 2 nd Shift: Monday – Friday 2:30pm – 11:00 PM

Pay: $18.50 - $19.50/hr
