Job summary

JobSquad Solutions Team is seeking a Bindery Operator for a company in the Miami Gardens, FL area. The role involves setting up, operating, and troubleshooting Heidelberg Stahlfolder B30 folding machines to meet production goals.

You will monitor folding accuracy, adjust settings, and ensure quality throughout shifts. Candidates should have hands-on bindery experience and strong mechanical skills, with availability for 1st or 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating industrial bindery or paper-folding equipment is REQUIRED.
• Experience setting up, running, and troubleshooting a Stahl B30 or comparable folding machine is strongly preferred.
• Ability to independently perform machine setups and adjustments.
• Knowledge of paper folding, feeding, alignment, and quality control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Heidelberg Stahlfolder B30 folding machines.
• Adjust machine settings based on job specifications, paper sizes, and folding requirements.
• Monitor equipment throughout production to ensure accurate and consistent folding.
• Identify and resolve machine jams, feeding issues, alignment problems, and other mechanical issues.
• Perform machine adjustments and basic preventative maintenance.
• Inspect finished materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Follow production schedules and meet daily productivity goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate equipment issues and production concerns to supervisors.
• Assist with additional bindery and production duties as needed.

Job Title: Bindery Operator Job Location: Miami Gardens Pay and Hours for Job + Benefits: 1st shift 7AM - 3PM 2nd shift 1PM - 9PM Monday to Friday Pay: $18-$21/hour (higher pay considered based on experience)

Job Description

We are currently hiring 2 experienced Bindery Operators to join a commercial printing and production team! The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience setting up, operating, adjusting, and troubleshooting industrial paper‑folding machines, specifically the Heidelberg Stahlfolder B30 (Stahl B30) or comparable folding equipment. We are looking for dependable, detail‑oriented individuals who understand bindery operations and can independently operate machinery while maintaining production quality and efficiency.

• Experience working in commercial printing, bindery, or print production environments.
• Ability to read and follow production work orders and job specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet production deadlines.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical production duties.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Heidelberg Stahlfolder equipment.
• Previous experience with Stahl B30 folding machines.
• Experience operating additional bindery equipment.
• Familiarity with signature folding and commercial print finishing.
• Experience performing routine equipment maintenance and mechanical adjustments.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay and Hours for Job + Benefits: 1st shift 7AM - 3PM 2nd shift 1PM - 9PM Monday to Friday Pay: $18-$21/hour (higher pay considered based on experience)
