Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Willard, OH is seeking a Mechanical Bind Operator 3 to join the Packaging and Fulfillment team. The role supports daily bind operations, runs the Womako Spiral Equipment, and helps keep production on schedule in a rotating shift.

You will work in a safe, organized environment with PPE and safety training, perform basic preventive maintenance, and have growth opportunities within the company. High school diploma preferred; strong teamwork and communication are essential.

• Previous Bindery Operator Experience preferred

Position Summary

The Mechanical Bind Operator 3 supports the Packaging and Fulfillment team by performing hands-on mechanical bind operations, assisting with daily make-readies, operating mechanical equipment, and inspecting book quality. This role contributes to on-time production by aligning with daily schedules, maintaining a safe and organized work area, and performing basic preventive maintenance and housekeeping. The position requires reliability, attention to detail, and effective communication to collaborate with supervisors, team members, and cross-functional partners. This is a rotating-shift role that provides on-the-job training and opportunities for growth within the company.
