Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Willard, OH is seeking a Material Handler to support our Bindery team. You will move book sections, secure loads with straps, and help keep binding equipment fed and productive while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role offers 8-hour rotating shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd) with overtime opportunities, hourly pay of $18 plus a $2 shift premium for 2nd or 3rd shifts, and a benefits package including insurance, 401(k), PTO, and EAP.

Qualifications

• Stand for an 8-hour shift and lift up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Willingness to learn new roles through hands-on training.
• Strong communication and teamwork with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Feed materials into binding machines and move finished products to skids or boxes.
• Secure gathered book sections with straps to keep them intact during transport.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the team to meet daily production goals and cross-train.
