Job summary

Mackin Educational Resources is seeking a dedicated Bindery Machine Operator to join the Topeka, KS Bindery team. If you are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and enjoy a fast-paced production environment, we’d like to hear from you!

The role involves operating various bindery machines, performing routine adjustments, and collaborating with team members to prepare materials for production. High school or GED required; full-time day shift with potential overtime.

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail required.
Mechanical aptitude preferred.
Ability to use ruler or tape measure accurately.
Ability to concentrate for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
Comfort with repetitive tasks in production settings.

Responsibilities

Operate bindery equipment (cutting, folding, scoring, stitching, gluing) per procedures.
Monitor equipment; perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
Prepare materials and orders for production with a clean, safe work area.
Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
