Job summary

Piworld in the Kansas City metro area is seeking a skilled Bindery Operator for the first shift. The ideal candidate has a minimum of four years of hands-on experience with folders, cutters, die cutting and mailing, and can read and follow job instructions precisely.

Responsibilities include monitoring machines, performing maintenance, reading measurements, and working with a team to meet customer specifications. Overtime and flexible hours are required as needed.

Bindery Operator

Shift: First:

8 Hours per Day, 5 days per week

Kansas City metro area printing firm is looking for qualified bindery operators with a minimum of four years experience with bindery equipment, including folders, cutters, die cutting and mailing.

Responsibilities:

• Read and follow written and computer generated job instructions to insure meeting of customer satisfaction.
• Have working knowledge of bindery equipment.
• Monitor assigned machines during runs to insure adherence to specifications.
• Perform all required maintenance to machines. Ability to work flexible hours and willing to work overtime as needed.
• Strong attention to instructions and schedules. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and perform measurements and strong math skills .
• Team player willing to assist and work in all areas of bindery in order to complete customers requests.
