Job summary

RRD Company in Wisconsin is seeking a Printing and Bindery Specialist for the 1st shift (6:00 AM–2:00 PM). The role involves setting up, operating and maintaining bindery equipment to produce printed materials, with starting pay from $20.00 to $26.00 per hour and a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

You will supervise crew, monitor quality and productivity, and ensure safe operation of binding machines, folders, cutters and related equipment.

Qualifications

Knowledge of setup, adjustment, procedures and capabilities of bindery equipment for finishing printed materials.
Knowledge of paper weights, sizes and colors to adjust machines as needed.
Ability to use standard and specialized hand tools to maintain bindery equipment.
Skill in adjusting powered machines with hand tools and specialized equipment.
Experience operating bindery equipment such as folders, cutters, stitchers, drills, binding/gluing machines.
Ability to read instructions to sequence machine operations and maintain dimensional accuracy.

Responsibilities

Set up, adjust and operate a variety of auxiliary binding machines
Inspect equipment for safety issues
Operate automatic adhesive binding machines (perfect binders) with multiple process stations
Make adjustments to coordinate multiple workstations on a single machine
Direct crew through all aspects of production
Monitor quality, output and productivity
