Job summary

Imagine in Grayslake, IL is seeking a full-time Bindery Operator to set up and operate cutter and laminator, ensuring finished work matches ticket specifications and measurements with tape measures and calipers.

The role includes supporting Bindery Operators, documenting production logs, maintaining equipment, and meeting productivity and quality standards. Overtime may be required. High school diploma or equivalent with related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 4 years of relevant industry experience, or 520 hours as an Imagine temporary employee with manager approval.
• Preferred: experience in printing, manufacturing, distribution, or fulfillment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as part of working conditions.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Performs manual and machine operator tasks related to cutter and laminator machines and operation and set-up of bindery equipment.

3:00pm to 11:30pm

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications of Position

• High school diploma or equivalent, four years of relevant industry experience, or 520 hours as an Imagine temporary employee along with manager approval to hire full-time.

Preferred Qualifications Of Position

• Previous experience working in printing, manufacturing, distribution, and/or fulfillment.

Knowledge And Skills

• Basic computer skills including email, basic mouse, keyboard, and menu navigation.
• Knowledge of general safety procedures.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and measurement.
• Ability to communicate/understand basic written and verbal instructions.
• Problem solving skills.

The national pay range for this role is listed below. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
