The role requires attention to detail, basic mechanical ability, and the ability to stand for long periods while lifting up to 50 pounds. You will operate or support bindery machines and collaborate with teammates to keep workflows efficient and accurate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn how to operate bindery machinery.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operating bindery equipment such as cutters, folders, stitchers, and laminators under supervision.
• Prepare printed materials for binding by sorting, collating, and organizing sheets according to job specifications.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to identify defects or inconsistencies and report issues to supervisors.
• Package and label completed jobs for shipment or storage, ensuring accuracy and protection of materials.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and performing routine equipment maintenance.
