AC Printing in Euless, TX is seeking a Bindery and Finishing Manager to oversee a 10-person team and help launch a second shift. This full-time, salaried position offers weekday daytime hours with occasional Saturdays.

The role requires hands-on experience in a commercial bindery, including setup of cutters, folders, and binding processes; leadership of a shift; and a focus on on-time, accurate finishes. AC Printing values long-tenured staff and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a commercial bindery, finishing or mailing house; experience leading a team or shift.
• Hands-on setup of cutters and folders; knowledge of stitching, binding and die-cutting.
• Comfortable using a computer for schedules and job tickets; familiarity with print management systems is a plus.
• Comfortable on a computer for schedules and job tickets; a print management system (EPMS or similar) is a plus
• Able to be on your feet on the plant floor for a full shift, with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsabilités

• Catch problems before they turn into re-runs and sign off finished work.
• Record every job’s time and output to know finishing costs.
• Decide what we finish in-house vs. what goes out, and bring work back in.

Run the finishing side of a busy commercial print plant. You'll lead a bindery team of 10 across our cutters, folders, stitchers, perfect binder and die-cutters, and get every job out the door on time and right.

What you need

• You plan ahead, and you speak up early when a job is going to miss
• Comfortable on a computer for schedules and job tickets; a print management system (EPMS or similar) is a plus
• Able to be on your feet on the plant floor for a full shift, with or without reasonable accommodation

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-5:00 pm or 6:30 am-4:30 pm. Saturday is our catch-up day, and you're in when the team is in. Expect 12-hour days during peak production.
