Job summary

PrintWorkers in Midlothian, TX is seeking a Folder Gluer Operator to join our manufacturing team. This direct-hire role features 12-hour day and night shifts and compensation between $26 and $30 per hour.

You will set up and operate folder gluer machines, handle various carton styles, and monitor glue adhesion and print registration. Candidates should have 1–3 years of experience with Bobst or Jagenberg folder gluers, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience operating folder gluers, specifically Bobst or Jagenberg.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate folder gluer machines.
• Run a variety of carton styles: 4-corner, 6-corner, lock-bottom, straight-line, auto-bottom.
• Adjust feeding mechanisms, folding swords, and glue applicators for production efficiency.
• Inspect cartons for glue adhesion, dimensional accuracy, and print registration.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and clean equipment.
• Coordinate with feed and packing crews to maintain production flow.
• Scan finished products into inventory and document issues.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain 5S standards.
• Complete daily production reports and record mechanical failures.

Job Responsibilities

• Set up and operate folder gluer machines.
• Run a variety of carton styles, including:

• Lock-bottom
• Straight-line
• Auto-bottom
• Adjust machine components, feeding mechanisms, folding swords, and glue applicators for efficient production.
• Continuously inspect cartons for proper glue adhesion, dimensional accuracy, clean folds, and print registration.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and clean equipment.
• Coordinate with feed and packing crews to maintain production flow.Scan finished products into inventory.
• Follow all plant safety procedures and maintain 5S workplace organization standards.
• Complete daily production reports and document mechanical failures.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
