Two Six Technologies in Linthicum, Maryland is seeking a Software Patch Verification Engineer to assess patches, perform binary diffing, and validate vulnerability fixes. The role emphasizes rigorous regression testing and documenting findings to support system accreditation.

You will work with Ghidra, IDA Pro, BinDiff, and dynamic analysis tools, under a framework requiring security clearance and strong Linux-based programming skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in static and dynamic reverse engineering and root-cause vulnerability analysis.
• Proficiency with disassembly tools (Ghidra, IDA Pro, Binary Ninja) and debuggers (GDB, WinDbg) and regression checks.
• Experience benchmarking patched behavior and providing verification evidence for accreditation.
• Strong programming in C, C++, and Python on Linux.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate software/firmware patches for binary diffing and vulnerability analysis.
• Execute formal retest/regression checks to verify bug closure.
• Support reproducibility of original vulnerability findings with verification evidence.
• Work with minimal supervision to confirm patch integrity and address vulnerabilities.
• Document analytical findings and help integrate AI-assisted verification tools.
