Job summary

JPI is hiring a VDC Specialist to drive preconstruction and construction coordination with a focus on BIM execution, clash detection, and 3D modeling of coordinated designs. The role requires deep experience in Revit, Navisworks, SketchUp, and BIM platforms, plus strong communication across design, field, and subcontractor teams.

The ideal candidate collaborates with the design team to deliver accurate models, supports project schedules, and ensures compliance with codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction, construction technology, information technology, electrical engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of construction technologies hands-on experience in the AEC industry with VDC adoption on large capital projects.
• Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office; working knowledge of Bluebeam, Procore, and Oracle Primavera Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the VDC program and BIM execution plan on new projects.
• Resolve BIM-related issues in contract documents and coordinate models with design and field teams.
• Set up projects in Revit, BIM360, and Navisworks; detect clashes and maintain federated models.
• Lead weekly BIM coordination meetings and update dashboards and meeting minutes.
• Ensure LOD requirements are defined and maintained to project progression.
• Coordinate and resolve field issues with subcontractors and support field teams.
