Job summary

Southland Industries seeks a VDC Specialist to support project execution with robust BIM and VDC expertise. You will help with project setup, model management, coordination, and file sharing using Autodesk Construction Cloud and related platforms.

Collaboration with project teams ensures alignment with company standards and deliverables. As you grow, you may take on advanced responsibilities like complex project administration, workflow optimization, and mentoring.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant experience, including BIM content creation/management.
• Solution-oriented mindset with quick learning and initiative.
• Strong verbal and written communication across disciplines.
• Working knowledge of BIM/VDC tools (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, ACC).
• Ability to support or manage VDC tasks (model setup, sheet management, submissions).
• Document workflows and maintain organized project data; ensure quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Support VDC efforts on projects, assisting with technical execution and coordination.
• Perform VDC project administration under VDC Lead direction.
• Review client BIM requirements and align project setups to standards.
• Assist with model setup and ongoing maintenance.
• Manage file sharing and milestone deliverables using Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Provide end-user support for VDC software (Revit, Navisworks, ACC).
• Develop project-specific BIM content following standards.
