Job summary

The BIM/VDC Specialist at Baker Concrete Construction, Inc. will create and maintain 3D models and support the BIM/VDC process under the BIM/VDC Manager on complex projects.

You will travel up to 25%, learn field construction methods, assist with design validation, and participate in training to advance construction technology while maintaining safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related construction field and 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced knowledge of 3D/4D/5D BIM and of platforms such as AutoCad, Architectural Desktop, Revit, Tekla, etc.

Summary

The BIM/VDC Specialist supports the Building Information Modeling and Virtual Design Construction process and works directly under the BIM/VDC Manager to facilitate jobsite construction using VDC. The Specialist creates 3D models on one complex project or multiple small projects and may assist with design validation and model maintenance. Visits field to learn concrete construction means and methods.
