Job summary

Baker Construction in the United States is seeking a BIM/VDC Specialist to support Building Information Modeling and Virtual Design Construction on large-scale concrete projects.

You will create and maintain 3D models, assist with pre-construction visualization, and help implement construction technology while ensuring safety and coordination with field teams. This role reports to the BIM/VDC Manager and offers strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related construction field and 5 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Advanced knowledge of 3D/4D/5D BIM and platforms such as AutoCad, Architectural Desktop, Revit, Tekla, etc.

Summary

The BIM/VDC Specialist supports the Building Information Modeling and Virtual Design Construction process and works directly under the BIM/VDC Manager to facilitate jobsite construction using VDC. The Specialist creates 3D models on one complex project or multiple small projects and may assist with design validation and model maintenance. Visits field to learn concrete construction means and methods.
