Hunt Electric’s VDC Process Intern will support the VDC team by reviewing Revit models, organizing project files, and aiding updates to standards and SOPs. The role focuses on BIM/VDC exposure within electrical construction, with training provided on department standards and tools.

The position offers hands-on experience with Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, ACC, and MS Office, and requires in-person work at the Eagan, MN office with some flexible scheduling potential.

Competenze

• Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in Construction Technology, Engineering Technology, Architectural/BIM Technology, Electrical Design, or related field.

Mansioni

• Review electrical Revit models using quality-control checklists and guidance from the VDC Process Manager.
• Record review findings clearly and communicate items that need correction or follow-up to project leads and the VDC Process Manager.
• Organize project files, Revit family content, templates, and department reference materials to support consistent modeling practices.
• Assist with formatting and updating Department Standards, VDC SOPs, and project GO-BY materials.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and improvement projects as needed.
