Job summary

Ayoroa Simmons, PLLC in Lexington, KY is seeking a seasoned BIM professional to lead the development and coordination of schematic and detailed BIM models used in construction, ensuring interdisciplinary consistency and resolving coordination issues across architectural, structural, MEP, and specialty systems.

You will serve as a key liaison between project stakeholders, representing clients in virtual coordination meetings and ensuring BIM implementation aligns with high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or current enrollment.
• 5+ years BIM/VDC experience in AECO.
• Proficient in Revit and Navisworks; familiarity with AutoCAD/Bluebeam/AC Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Attend and lead 3D coordination meetings (virtual) for clients and teams.
• Collaborate to ensure model integration across all disciplines.
• Develop, maintain BIM/VDC processes, standards, and best practices.
• Manage 2D/3D information for construction coordination and design coordination.
• Produce BIM/VDC outputs using Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and related platforms.
• Create annotated drawings including GA, coordination, and schematic diagrams.
• Establish and maintain project schedules, issue logs, meeting minutes, and progress metrics.
• Maintain BIM QA/QC procedures to ensure deliverables are error-free.
• Perform other duties to support project success.
