Job summary

IMC Construction is seeking a VDC Intern in Malvern, PA to support BIM and VDC technologies across the preconstruction and construction lifecycle. You will work with the VDC team and project stakeholders to develop visual solutions, improve coordination, and boost cross‑department collaboration.

Responsibilities

Support BIM & VDC technology: Assist with the implementation and use of CAD/BIM applications, including Revit, Navisworks, SketchUp, Google Earth, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
Assist Preconstruction Efforts: Collaborate with Sales and Estimating to support project pursuits and planning.
Create Visual Project Solutions: Document estimate assumptions, qualifications, and construction strategies via visual representations.
Support Construction Operations: Contribute to BIM Execution Plans for projects.
Develop 4D Scheduling Models: Help create models that integrate scheduling with project models.
Promote BIM Best Practices: Aid VDC staff in training and supporting CAD/BIM workflows.
Support Innovation & Implementation: Help communicate BIM benefits and develop standards.
