Job summary

Green Tanner Industrial in Chandler, AZ is seeking a BIM/VDC Field Engineer to support mission critical data centre projects by coordinating BIM models with field operations and subcontractors.

You will prepare field-ready deliverables, review IFC/shop drawings, and help with underground utility coordination, using Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks and ACC workflows.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, and OSHA 10 certification.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating MEP systems in BIM for complex projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction/shop drawings and IFCs.
• Knowledge of field coordination with subcontractors and field operations.
• Familiarity with clash detection and constructability reviews.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.

Job description

Green Tanner Industrial is seeking a BIM/VDC Field Engineer with strong experience in MEP coordination, construction modeling, and field-ready deliverables for mission critical data centre projects. This role will support construction operations by coordinating BIM models, preparing layout information, assisting with underground utility coordination, and developing accurate field deliverables for survey and construction teams. The ideal candidate should have practical experience with Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, and ACC workflows, specifically related to MEP systems and underground infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit
• Strong experience with Civil 3D
• Experience modeling and coordinating MEP systems
• Familiarity with Navisworks Manage and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
• Understanding of underground utility coordination and construction workflows
• Experience with construction layout and survey workflows preferred
• Knowledge of mission critical/data centre construction preferred
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and shop drawings
• Experience working with field teams and construction operations
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) are highly preferred, but not required
• Must have OSHA 10 in the construction industry
