Job summary

Romanoff Electric in Toledo, OH is seeking a BIM/VDC Coordinator to join our fast-paced construction team. You will lead 2D/3D modeling efforts, coordinate with electrical trades, and prepare shop drawings and RFIs.

This in-person role requires strong Revit/AutoCAD skills and the ability to communicate across project teams. The ideal candidate is a Journeyman Electrician or has equivalent BIM/VDC experience, with proficiency in Navisworks and BIM 360 tools, and a solid understanding of NEC code

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician or related BIM/VDC experience is required.
• 2+ years drafting/coordination experience preferred; strong Revit/AutoCAD/Navisworks skills.
• Proficient in BIM collaboration tools and NEC code understanding.
• Excellent communication across project teams and field coordination.

Responsibilities

• Review and produce 2D/3D electrical drawings for field installations and coordination.
• Participate in coordination meetings to resolve clashes while maintaining constructability.
• Produce shop drawings, underground conduits, cables, and other electrical systems for fabrication.
• Prepare RFIs and follow-up responses to clarify original design.
• Read architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical plans, sections, and elevations.
• Coordinate with engineer of record and project management to resolve issues.
• Travel to project sites as required.
• Perform other duties and ensure compliance with safety programs.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
