Job summary

Romanoff Electric, a leading electrical services firm in Toledo, OH, seeks a BIM/VDC Coordinator to join our in-person construction team. The role involves coordinating 2D and 3D models, supporting shop drawing production, and collaborating with the project management group and engineers.

The successful candidate will work closely with field crews, prepare documentation, and travel to project sites as required, ensuring alignment with NEC and project standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with BIM/VDC coordination in construction projects.
• Ability to read architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical plans.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and coordination with trades.

Responsibilities

• Review and produce 2D/3D electrical drawings for field installations and coordination.
• Participate in coordination meetings to resolve clashes while maintaining NEC compliance.
• Produce shop drawings, underground conduit layouts, and print fabrication instructions.
• Prepare RFIs and responses to clarify original design.
• Read floor plans and elevations and communicate with project teams.
