Job summary

Chapel Electric Co., LLC in Dayton, OH is seeking a BIM / VDC Coordinator to join our in‑person team. You will work with project management on modeling efforts for 2D and 3D coordination and shop drawings, supporting a fast-paced construction environment.

Candidates should have strong BIM/VDC coordinating skills, experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks, and be able to multi-task across trades while communicating clearly with field teams and engineers.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating BIM/VDC models for 2D/3D construction drawings.
• Familiarity with NEC code and construction documenting processes.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, in-person team environment.

Responsibilities

• Review 2D/3D electrical drawings for field installation coordination.
• Lead 3D coordination meetings to resolve clashes and maintain constructability.
• Produce shop drawings and conduit/cable layouts for fabrication.
• Prepare RFIs and follow-up responses for clarifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and project management to resolve design issues.
• Travel to project sites as required and ensure safety compliance.
