Baker Group is seeking a BIM Technician to support project teams in developing and maintaining Building Information Models for mechanical and electrical systems. The role involves updating models, preparing drawings, spooling, and coordinating with engineers and detailers to meet project deadlines.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam, and is eager to grow within the BIM and construction technology field. This on-site role is based in Des Moines, IA.

Competenze

• Minimum two years of directly related experience with Mechanical, Plumbing, or Electrical systems design, layout, construction, and project model set-up
• Understanding of Construction Drawings and Documentation
• Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud and Autodesk software (Revit, Navisworks, MEP Fabrication) required
• Practical experience with Bluebeam and MS Office Suite applications

Mansioni

• Utilize Autodesk software to create 3D models and 2D documents for construction purposes
• Update models, prepare drawings, spooling, and model coordination
• Work with point cloud/laser scan files, including alignment and handling large files
• Generate views, sheets, and annotations in BIM models
• Modify install drawings per as-built conditions or field markups
• Create install and spool drawings
• Create installation details and Revit family parts
• Coordinate with project team to meet deadlines
